ISTANBUL RALLY CIRCUIT - PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT DESIGN COMPETITION

Turkey joined Bahrain and China on the Formula One calendar by 2005.

The Turkish government is working with TOMSFED, the Turkish National Sporting Authority, to create a brand new motorsporting facility close to the capital, Istanbul.

It will be located adjacent to the Pendik-Kurtkoy Airport

The funding for the venture is coming from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. Istanbul Chamber of Commerce has initiated a PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT DESIGN COMPETITION.

Promoturk visited the Chairman of ITO - Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Mr. Mehmet Yıldırım and his team organising the ISTANBUL RALLY CIRCUIT - PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT DESIGN COMPETITION. To assist ITO with the know how based on the 1999 - 2000- 2001 PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT DESIGN COMPETITIONs organized by Promoturk and ETMK, PROMOTURK Chairman of the Board of Directors, Tuna Yetkin took part in the jury.

52 competitors attended the competition, designed a full-scale concept for the sales and promotion of ISTANBUL RALLY CIRCUIT - PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT. Sweat-shirts, T-shirts, hats, rocksacks. Members of the jury were: Mehmet Yıldırım, Dr. Cengiz Ersun, Mehmet Hotiç, Arzu Kaprol, Bahar Korçan, Berna Sağlam, Faruk Saraç, Saruhan Tan, Prof. Dr. İnci Tezcan, Tuna Yetkin , Italy Milan Domus Fashion Academy Professor Barbara Trebitsch.
